About the Event:

Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome is a vexing disorder with no FDA-approved therapies and a staggering unmet need. Even before the pandemic 500,000 a year people died from ARDS. Now, it is the leading cause of death among COVID-19 patients.

Aqualung CEO, Dr. Skip Garcia, CEO of Aqualung Therapeutics has one goal:

“Before I hang up my cleats, I want to get a solution into the market that can help people survive ARDS.”

Aqualung is well on their way to developing a drug platform to treat ARDS, having conducted pre-clinical studies with swine, receiving strong efficacy data. In a recent article in Endpoints News, Dr. Garcia noted that Aqualung is “making excellent progress in moving down the drug development pipeline and to ARDS Clinical Trial evaluation.”

Please join us to hear from Dr. Garcia and learn how Aqualung Therapeutics is on the verge of an important breakthrough in the treatment of Respiratory Disorders.
